Responsible Communication and Sustainable Events

Climate change is moving from being a future concern to becoming a present and growing risk factor for companies. From extreme weather phenomena to regulatory and market requirements, climate risks - physical, related to the direct impacts of climate (such as droughts, floods or heat waves), and transitional, associated with the political, technological and economic changes needed to achieve a low-carbon economy - today require a strategic, informed and integrated response in business management. In this webinar, we will explore how companies can identify and integrate climate risks into their decisions, processes and business models. Through an accessible technical framework and the sharing of good practices by GRACE member companies, it will be possible to understand how to transform climate challenges into opportunities for innovation, resilience and leadership. Based on international frameworks such as the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) and the ISSB (International Sustainability Standards Board) standards, the webinar aims to support organizations in anticipating risks, defining priorities and implementing concrete actions towards carbon neutrality and climate adaptation. This will also be a space for inspiration, with the sharing of real cases of Portuguese companies that are already integrating climate into their strategy and operations - showing that it is possible to act, even in contexts of uncertainty
