WHAT IF Nature were the operating system of the economy? It doesn’t appear on the organizational chart, it has no seat on the Board of Directors, and it isn’t listed as a supplier, but it’s behind practically everything: water, soil, energy, raw materials, biodiversity, and climate stability. For far too long, we have treated Nature as merely the backdrop for economic activity. What if we began to recognize it for what it truly is: critical infrastructure for business continuity and resilience? At the 2nd GRACE Sustainability Congress on November 24, we will place this relationship at the center of business strategy and discuss the risks, choices, and opportunities that arise from it.
