Access to sustainable financing in Europe is increasingly dependent on alignment with clear and transparent technical criteria. To facilitate this process, the European Investment Fund (EIF) has made available a public tool that helps classify projects as "green" according to the relevant environmental and climate criteria. This webinar aims to present the Green Checker for EIF - a free online tool designed to help companies, consultancies or financial intermediaries quickly assess whether projects qualify as green according to the sustainability criteria applicable under EIF operations, providing a simple assessment of the level of eligibility and standardized impact estimates. This tool particularly supports analysis in the context of EIF sustainability products and guarantees. The session will present the tool's operating logic, its technical framework and how it can be used by companies, consultancies and public bodies to structure projects in line with the European sustainability criteria promoted by the EIF.
