Awards ceremony for the 10th edition of the GRACE Academy

On June 17th, at a ceremony held at the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegrethe winners of the X Edition of the GRACE Academy with the participation of 370 students from 9 academic institutions submitted 104 applications.

The opening ceremony was attended by Luís Loures, President of the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre and Pedro Amaral Frazão, Vice-President of GRACE representing the Sousa Group, who also presented the project. Uni.Network.

The event was also attended by Ângela Noiva, Deputy Director General of Higher Education, who announced the winners of the 10th edition of the GRACE Academy:

  • The Great GRACE Academy Award, supported by Greenfest, distinguished Inês Ferreira; Jorge Mendes; Ricardo Guimarães; Vítor Pinto, from the Portuguese Institute of Management and Marketing (IPAM)As part of the project The Employee Journey: The Return of Senior Talent, they will receive a scholarship to the G Academy.

  • Action Awardsupported by Continental Mission, awarded Abílio Alves; Fábio Ribeiro; Mundike Kamuele, from the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, with the Digital Transformation in Private Social Solidarity Institutions project. The action prize (Continente Mission) consists of free entry to the QSP Summit.

  • Impact Awardsupported by Auchan, awarded Beatriz Godinho; Zélia Calado; Marcelino Rodrigues, from the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre, with the project "Sexta-Formação" Employees at the End of Their Professional Lives in an IPSS Training Sector. The impact award (Auchan) consists of a meeting with the Social Responsibility Department of Auchan Retail Portugal and a visit to the company's facilities.

  • Rookie Award: University of Madeira. The rookie prize honors the university's first participation in this competition.

  • Mafalda Paula; Pedro Costa; Tiago Matos; Vasco Rodrigues (Employees as the epicenter of growth: Multiple cases of digital transformation in the public and private sectors in Portugal) - University of Aveiro

  • Ana Chambel, Beatriz Rodrigues, Levy Rego, Luciana Jost ("How the Montepio Group can take advantage of the talent of the +45") - IPAM

XI Edition of the GRACE Academy

The themes for the 11th edition of the GRACE Academy were also announced during the ceremony. In the coming school year, students will have to develop a project related to the "Artificial Intelligence or with "Attracting and Retaining Talent | Upskilling & Reskilling".

The GRACE Academy is one of the pillars of the Uni.Network Project, and is centered on the development of academic projects which, in this edition, had to find solutions with business applicability to the themes of "Digital Transformation" and "Last Years of Employees' Active Lives".
